The Ask About Medicines Awards for Excellence

Welcome to the webpages for the annual Ask About Medicines Awards for Excellence 

These Awards recognise excellence in

• increasing people's understanding about medicines and medicine taking 
• helping medicine users to be involved in decisions about their treatment
• achieving better communication between people and their healthcare professionals

The Awards were launched in 2006 and we had over 75 entries.

These showcased a wide range of excellent initiatives across the UK, all designed to encourage better communication between patients and their health professionals, and to improve the depth and quality of medicines information.
